Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and e-Scooter Concerns
Issue Date Monday 3rd June 2024
ASB in the parks (particularly Leighton Rec, Penleigh Skate Park, Town Park) and town centre (High Street and Edward Street) – this will increase as the evenings start to get lighter
There will be ongoing patrols of sighting groups in town area and Stop/Checks will occur when required - especially clamping down on illegal e-scooter usage.
This will continue for the foreseeable.

Community Engagement

Community drop-ins to be increased.
Surrounding villages will be also getting a monthly pop up community engagement event in village centres/squares.
These events will be advertised on social media and on Your Area.

Last Sunday of every month, the local policing team will be in attendance to speak to members of the community - and stay for a cuppa!
