Neighbourhood Priorities

Burglaries in Hatfield , Anti social behaviour Broadway and Quarry Park

The issues have been identified from the crime figures in relation to the burglaries and from Council Ward Members for Quarry Park and Broadway

This is affecting local residents and users of the park

Goals- A patrol plan has been created for Broadway and Quarry Park with partner agencies. To try and identify those involved and deter further incidents.  Educational work to be completed in the local schools

High visibility patrols and plain clothes patrols around Hatfield.

there has been an increase in the number of incidents reported. in Dunscroft, including around shops, businesses and local schools

Officers and PCSOs have increased their visibility in Dunscroft
A drop in session held during the evening at the top of Broadway in Dunscroft
2 young people have been issued with red letters as part of the Anti social behaviour process
2 other have been issued yellow letters
Educational inputs around anti social behavior has been delivered at he local primary schools and will hopefully be completed at the local high school in the near future.
Dunscroft and Hatfield including, around Tesco’s is part of the patrol area for my Neighbourhood team ,the DMBC stronger communities team and NRT.
My team have completed 2 Trojan bus operations on different days during the evening due to the rise incidents where buses have ben targeted.
There is a letter drop/community impact survey being conducted next week in the area around Tesco’s in Hatfield to obtain as much information about the recent events in this area and encourage people to report incidents to the police and council. . Our reports do not match the information the councillors are aware of and some reports are being put on Facebook and not reported

We are continuing our work with partners agencies, including St Ledger homes and DMBC Stronger communities team.

This is affecting business in the town centre and members of the public using the town centre

Goals - to encourage people to report incidents to the police and/or council and to identify those involved.

Work with Partners to look at enforcement, The off road bike team have been requested and are attending on a number of dates.  The Road Policing Group ( traffic) will also be providing additional support.
