Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Priorities - September 2023.

1 - Shop Theft & Associated ASB in West Bridgford Town Centre

What we’re doing;
- On-going patrols to prevent offending
- Use of Criminal Behaviour Orders when shoplifters are prosecuted
- Supporting Rushcliffe Borough Council WISE team who combat littering
- Engagement and signposting for homeless persons residing in the area
- Utilising CCTV opportunities following ‘safer streets’ investment

2 – Car Cruising (Edwalton & Ratcliffe on Soar)

What we’re doing;
- Targeted patrols by tasked officers at peak times
- Response plan in place to use dispersal powers for spontaneous calls
- Working towards long term physical infrastructure projects to prevent car meets
- Working in partnership with Local Authorities to consider legal powers towards injunctions

3 – Anti-Social Behaviour in Bingham

What we’re doing;
- Targetted patrols
- Tactical use of dispersal orders for problematic hot spots
- Engagement and diversion with young persons involved
- Support the best use of new technology (CCTV) investment as part of PCC funding
