Neighbourhood Priorities

ASB - April 2024 to June 2024

Our priority from April 2024 to June 2024 that we are focussing on is anti-social behaviour (ASB). This has been agreed in conjunction with partner agencies.
.
We have seen an increase in ASB around the Highbury Vale tram stop and on the trams themselves. We are continuing with operations to combat this in conjunction with NET trams who are supporting our operations and assisting with vital evidence capture.
We will be having monthly meetings with our partners to ensure that we are patrolling the places experiencing the most ASB. We are also working with local schools and clubs to address any concerns which provides a multi-layered problem solving approach.
We encourage any member of the public to report ASB to us on 101.

June Update

ASB continues to be the focus for Police activity on the Basford ward. In particular we see ASB and criminal damage to the tram network as an issue .
We are working alongside NET regularly and have increased our presence on the network .
I am pleased to report that ASB incidents on Leen valley have been low for the last couple of months with no real repeat locations .
