Neighbourhood Priorities

To target and disrupt the illegal supply of drugs across the York Outer area.

We are committed to investigating and developing intelligence received in relation to drugs. Whether that be in relation to possession, dealing or production.

We have successfully executed numerous warrants in recent months and will continue to execute more.

We will be conducting high visibility and plain clothed targeted activity in hotspot areas.

Along with our partners we will utilise civil enforcement powers such as Community Protection Notices, Closure Orders and Injunctions on repeat offenders.

To prevent burglary and acquisitive crime in the York Outer area.

Conduct timely follow up visits through the Op Cordial process to all victims of domestic burglary. Local teams will conduct timely house to house enquires, CCTV checks and provide target hardening and crime prevention advice.

Target hardening of vulnerable locations/premises.

To respond swiftly to those identified as being responsible for acquisitive crime.
