The team is made up of an Insp, two Sergeants and a mixture of PCs and PCSOs who have geographical responsibilities for the wards of Harrogate Outer which include Knaresborough, Ripon, Boroughbridge and Pateley Bridge. The team focus on ASB, Crime and other incidents which have a negative impact on the communities. The team also provide safe guarding, support vulnerable persons and attend local events and schools.

The A168 between Dishforth and Boroughbridge being used by the travelling community to race and gather single horse drawn carriages.

Engagement with local community and Councillor, patrols by local Policing Team and supported by Roads Policing Team. Engagement with travellers to educate on Traffic Offences. working along side RSPCA for animal welfare.

Local youths causing majority of Anti Social Behaviour in small village area.

Community meetings held and plan created. The Harrogate Outer team actively patrol the area and engage with the youths to educate about behaviour. Calls to the Police have currently reduced.

A group of Police and community members to discuss Hate related crimes and incidents and how best to support victims.

Group established and quarterly meetings set up. Actively recruiting members of all religions, cultures, sexual orientation and youth groups. The group also identify any learning opportunities which can then be taken forward.

Targeted theft of central heating boilers at new build housing estates across North Yorkshire, however the main areas targeted were County which includes, Skipton are and Harrogate Outer

Woking group set up to analyse victim locations, offer enhanced crime prevention, use of assets to track offenders, targeted patrols. From this work offender shave been identified and arrested.

Criminal activity by an Organised Crime Group dealing drugs in the Ripon and Boroughbridge area where offenders from outside the area would target local youths and vulnerable people to supply drugs to the area.

Patrols put in place to identify those responsible, locations and victims. Intelligence gathering to support objectives and raise warrants. Warrants executed and arrests made. Calls to NYP have reduced.
