Neighbourhood Priorities

1. Violence – This is a broad category that can include all violence types and can include gangs, drugs, domestic assaults, violence against women and vulnerable people, public space safety, alcohol fuelled violence and anti0social behaviour linked to violence. As the days are getting longer in the lead up to summer officers will predominantly target the areas with the heaviest footfall of High Road, Broad Lane and Monument Way.

High Vis and plain clothes patrols coninue on the ward. Op Pilotis and Op Pilotis 2 have been implemneted to tackle the ongoing issues with good results and proflic offenders targeted through the use of stop search and ASB powers. Patrols to continue in addition to VAWG patrols and engagement to reassure the community in that area.

2. Robbery - As days are longer over the summer period officers will target the robbery hotspots of Markfield Park, River Lee canal path, Broad Lane and Ferry Lane. These have been chosen using the up to date robbery and theft from person data.

conduct patrols on Robbery hotspots such Markfield Park, River lee canal tow path, Broad Lane and public transport hubs. Officer will use met database and robbery trends to target areas and prolific offenders.

3. Motor vehicle crime – There has been an increase in theft from motor vehicle in the ward. Officers to establish trends and patterns and target these areas at the right times to identify offenders.

Targeted parols planned for the coming week and also for Op Redding targeting drug use and known proflic offenders on the ward. TTCG bid being prepared to fund extra resourcing
