Opportunity burglaries are occurring where perpetrators are using "smash and grab" techniques to break in and quickly make off with goods.

· Establish the geographic hotspots- enhanced engagement/ patrols in these areas;
· Crime prevention material (letter) distribution in these areas;
· Workshop on burglary prevention advice in local community centre;
· Crime prevention stand to be set up in ASDA for further advice to be given;
