Reducing Violent Crime as a Pan London objective working in conjunction with local residents and businesses to focus on hotspots areas and identified individuals

Arrest Enquiries for wanted offenders with arrests made.

There has been ongoing concerns with a rise in aggressive begging on Lower Addiscombe Road. This has also involved people drinking alcohol in open spaces and on pavements which has made residents feel uncomfortable when in public places

High Visibility patrols have increased with SNT officers issuing a number of Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices.
SNT Officers also have worked with Croydon Council regarding problematic tenants who have been involved in begging and street drinking and have implemented changes in relation to their tenancy agreement.

There has been concerns regarding a number of theft/shoplifting offences at local businesses along Lower Addiscombe Road.

Officers have carried out a number of arrest enquiries and also have sought assistance from the TSG.
There has been an increase in arrests for shoplifting and further arrest enquiries.
PS Jones has also been working with store managers and crime teams to increase security measures within stores
Advice given to businesses regarding crime prevention both relating to physical offences and cyber crime related offences
