Tackling drugs – focusing on the development of intelligence

Drugs - Continuing with tackling drugs with the aim of
empowering the community to work with the police and
partners to detect and stop drug offences and related
incidents.

We have been working with the courts and CPS colleagues to get drugs warrants needed,
and will develop our intelligence around properties and people we want to take action
against. We encourage the public to report incidents and concerns where they can, and
remind people about the anonymous reporting mechanism via Crimestoppers.

The team will tackle drugs, with the aim of empowering the community to work with the police and partners to stop drug offences and related incidents.
