Neighbourhood Priorities
Rogue traders / scams to protect vulnerable victims.

Officers will be visiting those who may be at risk or have had a "near miss", and we will be raising awareness of the common ploys through campaigns and engagements which educate the public on scams and how they can protect themselves. We will continue to monitor and respond promptly to support victims / would-be victims and their care givers.
Action Date
Tackling prolific and high-harm individuals who disrupt our community and affect quality of life. This has been set based on high number of calls for service.

Two prolific shoplifters were identified and charged with 40 offences and 16 offences respectively. Both men are now on suspended sentences.
A local woman who was initially subjected to a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) based on high number of calls for police service has been diverted into a pathway to prevent offending thanks to the local team working with local authority and other agencies to provide the right support.
