Road Safety:
Community engagement through Beats Surgery’s, Neighbourhood Link Surveys, and social media interaction has identified that the Uppingham community feel Road Safety is one of their main priorities.

Issue Date Monday 1st April 2024

During May 24 speed monitoring was completed in the town by the Neighbourhood Team and 1 driver was issued with a TOR (Traffic Offence Report). PCSO Wylie assisted with a Fatal Four Operation in Melton and this will be repeated in Rutland in due course.

Anti-Social Behaviour:
Community engagement through Beat Surgery’s, Neighbourhood Link Surveys and social media interaction has highlighted that Anti-Social behaviour as is a concerned for the residents of Uppingham.

Issue Date Monday 1st April 2024

We had two reports of ASB in May 2024. Two youth have been issued with Community Resolutions after admitting to causing graffiti and a joint partnership visit was completed to a resolve reported issues in a residential property,

Patrols in local hotspot areas will continue to be completed to engage with youths and educate them and take positive action when required.

Vehicle Crime:
Community engagement through Beats Surgery’s, Neighbourhood Link Surveys, and social media interaction has identified that the Uppingham community feel that the ongoing issue of vehicle related crime is one of their main concerns.

Although we had no reports of vehicle crime in May 24 there has been reports in our surrounding villages so we must not become complacent.
