Neighbourhood Priorities

ASB remains a priority for the residents of the NH20 beat. We are aware of reports involving youths causing general issues in parks & open areas within our villages. We have had on going issues at McDonalds Fosse park Asda as well as Narborough Park. We have also been made aware of an issue of a number of skaters causing damage in Lubbesthorpe.

Issue Date Wednesday 3rd April 2024

Targeted patrols have been carried out in the local parkin LUBBESTHORPE regarding the skate boarding issue. We have worked with staff at ASDA and McDonalds to deter ASB as well as identify perpetrators. We have also patrols the local schools to reduce concerns around pedal cycles on pavements during peak transportation times, unsafe parking and further behaviour from school children when walking home.
We have liaised with Blaby District Council regarding ASB in NARBOROUGH PARK. IMPACT youth workrs have been out to speak with any youths hanging around the park.

Road safety is a concerns for us on the NH20 beat. This involves speeding on the main busy roads and parking around school zones at pick up and drop of time. There has also been an increase of inconsiderate parking at Enderby Leisure Centre

Issue Date Wednesday 3rd April 2024

Local officers have worked with staff at Enderby Leisure centre to tackle parking around busy school times with extra parking being allocated for customers. During school term time officers have completed patrols around local schools to deter inconsiderate parking including illegal parking on double yellow lines, junctions and school crossings.

Action Date Thursday 25th April 2024

Issues of nuisance motorcycle riding through numerous locations across the NH20 beat.

Issue Date Wednesday 3rd April 2024

It is crucial we keep in touch with local community parish councils and key points within the neighbourhoods for any evidential CCTV footage of the motorcycle riders creating issues. Descriptions of the bikes and riders are key as the motorbike will more than likely not be showing any vehicle registration number plates. Further patrols around the open spaces and field and grass areas will also be monitored.
