A largely residential district which includes small scale retail and manufacturing, a large country park various schools, churches and clubs and a small number of licenced premises both on and off licences. Aylestone Beat area is made up of residential and small industrial areas. Inclusive of schools, shops, churches, Cafes, Social Clubs, two BP Garages and a large Public open space which also includes canal area and The Great Central Way.

Neighbourhood Priorities

Anti-social behaviour around open spaces across Aylestone, particularly during evenings and weekends.

We have responded to some reports of misuse of Aylestone Meadows and we have increased our patrols in that area to deter and/or identify and deal with those responsible.

Offences relating to drugs remain a concern in the area and so we are seeking to develop intelligence in this area, which will hopefully allow us to take enforcement action.
