The trap bike has been deployed in areas of Beverley where there have been reports of cycle theft, including bike racks on Toll Gavel and Flemingate which have good CCTV coverage with a view to catching offenders. Dates will also be arranged at some point with local schools and youth events for bike marking to be undertaken. Patrols will continue to monitor cycle theft incidents to build up a pattern of offending and identify suspects involved.
