Neighbourhood Priorities

Traffic related offences within the ward area, prioritizing speeding & weight restriction offences.

Speed awareness checks have been complete on the following villages Brigg, Bonby, Barnetby-Le-Wold, Wrawby, and South Ferriby.

A number of vehicles was stopped recently as part of a proactive vehicle stop day jointly with traffic officers, DVSA and environmental health officers. A number of offences was revealed on the day which included, no tax, no mot, no insurance and vehicles load likely to cause danger.

Joint vehicles stop day was completed on the 13th of November jointly with DVSA, Environmental agency and local neighbourhood policing team. Several prohibitions and tickets were issued by us and DVSA.?

Contravening of the local traffic order checks for HGVs 7.5t has been carried out?in Elsham.?

Drug intelligence and disruption in the ward areas.

Raised through NAT and members of the public concerns through the relevant key individual network.

There have been a number of patrols conducted within the hotspot locations whereby drugs are causing the most threat and harm to the community within the ward area.

Regular traffics stops and enforcement for the disruption element will remain in place in order to best disrupt the suspects.

A section 23 Misuse of drugs act warrant was completed and the male concerned was dealt with by means of a caution for possession offences.
