Neighbourhood Priorities
Tackle theft of bicycles.

Some 10+ bike marking events have been held by the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Watford since December, with bikes security marked and registered online. This means they can be traced if they are stolen, potentially helping to support police investigations and meaning property can be returned to their rightful owners.
Since May 2022, the Watford Neighbourhood Policing Team has security marked 752 pedal cycles, including e-bikes, to date.
Arrests have been made and investigations are on-going into bike theft offences.
