Yateley parish, is situated in the north east corner of Hampshire. It covers an area of 2,722 acres stretching northwards from the A30 to the River Blackwater, which forms the boundary with the Royal County of Berkshire.

The town includes the areas of Darby Green, Frogmore and part of Blackwater, and also includes the greater part of Blackbushe Airport within its boundary. The town itself is a mixture of old and new developments during the last 25 years it has expanded dramatically. There are two village greens with recreation and play equipment areas, as well as other amenity play parks in various locations around the town.

The town has 3 health centres, a library, a police station, Fire Station two community centres, 10 local authroity schools with associated playing fields, the village hall, the Darby green centre and the Monteagle Community Hall all of which are available for the Yateley community.

Yateley and the surrounding area is being targeted by individuals using weapons such as catapults and throwing eggs to cause criminal damage to homes, vehicles and commercial buildings.

- Proactive patrols at times of vehicle crimes in vulnerable areas of our area such as the A30 gravel pits, public car parks, and residential areas during hours of darkness;
- Beat surgeries and prevention events in vulnerable areas of our area;
- Assisting our partner agencies with designing out crime in vulnerable areas;
- Provide crime prevention advice to businesses and van owners to prevent further offences;
- Provide marking equipment to deter offenders from thefts;
- Promote www.Immobilise.com to register your items on the National Mobile Property Register.
