Fleet is a town in the county of Hampshire, located 37 miles (60 km) southwest of London. The town centre beat also includes the area of Pondtail. Geographically, to the north of the town, are the suburbs of Ancells Park and Elvetham Heath. The villages of Crookham and Church Crookham have also grown and have close connection with the town.

The beat incorporates both residential and business premises with the HART Shopping Centre the nucleus of town activity.

Recreationally the beat includes the FLEET POND nature reserve and is a notable beauty spot on the northern edge of the town. The pond itself is in fact the largest freshwater lake in Hampshire.
