If you live in and around Tadley, Pamper, Silchester , Bramley and Sherfield on loddon you will now come under the new Rural East Neighbourhood area, the team comprises of 2 PCSOs and 1 PC. The PCSOs will deal with local issues and engagements supported by the PCs who will address criminality and safeguarding the vulnerable. The West area and South area have a similar set up which means that when resources are required they can be moved around to support a policing need.

First point of contact for local issues should be through the PCSO but feel free if you have any questions about the team or a particular problem to contact me via email - [email protected] or via the 101 system and I will get back to you. Please be reminded that the team work a variety of shifts and could be on rest days for 2 or 3 days.

Much of the Basingstoke Rural consists of rolling farm land crucial to the production of food and services that keep our economy going. We see significant issues with illegal trespassers entering land for the purposes of this cruel act, in addition they cause many thousand pounds worth of damage by destroying crops

Operation Galileo is a national response to illegal poaching and hare coursing. If you see or suspect this act is taking place call 999 immediately and quote your location and that an operation Galileo offence is taking place this will ensure a timely and effective Police response to the issue
