Neighbourhood Priorities
Anti-social behaviour, violence and on street drug supply primarily in the School Hill and Brownlow Fold areas. The peak time for offences is during the late evenings.

Officers are conducting high visibility patrolling, particularly during the late evenings. Local officers will also be gathering intelligence and will be utilising their stop and search powers to detect offences. Anyone found in possession of controlled drugs and/or weapons will be arrested.

Speeding and other traffic related offences on priority routes - Halliwell Road / Blackburn Road targeted as a priority. Peak times are mid to late afternoon.

Your local officers will be conducting speed enforcement in the area and dealing with motorists who exceed the limit. They will also be seizing uninsured vehicles and arresting anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are also working with local schools to make the roads safer around schools.
