Neighbourhood Priorities

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and public place crime.

We will engage with our communities, partners and analyse data to understand where crime and antisocial behaviour is most prevalent. We will be relentless in targeting those places and spaces we identify where crime and ASB are common. We will work with are partners to target those causing ASB and committing crime.

100 Days of Summer
100 days of highly visible foot patrols in hotspots of crime and ASB within Weymouth Town centre. This operation is in partnership with Dorset Council’s Community Safety Team, CSAS, Weymouth Town Council, BID and RNLI. Runs until September.
Operation Track
A year long operation funded by the Home Office to target areas of high ASB and violent crime across Weymouth and Portland. Police officers will be regularly conducting foot patrols in the areas identified.
