Neighbourhood Priorities
Youth crime and Anti social behaviour
Linked to the previous two priorities is a specific priority of looking at Youth issues across the board from ASB to violence and youth offending

Update: 01 March 2023 - Our activity, focuses on:
- Patrolling the worst affected areas
- Looking at County lines offences
- Working in partnership with other agencies to work with young people and map concerns
- Dispersing problem groups
- Utilising the range of Police powers to target areas of concern
- Prevention work with schools and colleges

Anti-Social Behaviour and hot spot policing
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) causes significant distress and we prioritise dealing with it as swiftly as possible.
Such behaviour includes intimidation, abusive language and public alcohol & drug use.

Update: 01 March 2023 - Our activity:
- Seizing alcohol and drugs
- Using stop and search powers
- Dispersing problem groups
- Arresting offenders
- Using ASB escalation powers (in conjunction with partners), to place offenders on court orders
- Operation Hundred refers to a specific operation to prevent ASB and to Police hotspot location across Torquay.
- Working with retailers with regards to Restorative Justice interventions
- Working with partners via Key individual networks (KINS) to stay responsive to areas of cocnern
