Neighbourhood Priorities

ASB in Braunton Village, Croyde and other rural locations

Anti-Social Behaviour can have a significant impact a persons quality of life and also be detrimental to local communities. As such, as a neighbourhood policing team, we look to tackle and address ASB quickly and effectively and require support from our local communities in reporting matters to ourselves and assisting enquiries to identify individuals responsible.
We continue to receive reports of ASB in various areas in Braunton and would encourage continued reporting of issues identified by members of the public, so that appropriate patrols can be carried out to deter these concerns.

Issue Date Friday 17th May 2024

Update: 17 May 2024 - Current ASB

We conduct patrols in areas our communities tell us there are issues of anti social behaviour. The exact locations change regularly and we respond and adapt to the changing needs and information. We record when we spend time in areas to be able to assess the reports and situations and work hard to find reslutions to any issues we encounter.

Action Date Friday 17th May 2024

Safeguarding Communities

We work closely with a number of agencies, from housing providers to the Local Council to local businesses to identify any arising issues and try to resolve them before they cross over into criminal behaviour.

Issue Date Friday 17th May 2024

Update: 17 May 2024 - Ongoing Safeguarding

We are responding to calls of concern made by members of the public where there is a risk to life or other concerns for welfare. We share any concerns with partner agencies better placed to cope and meet the needs of individuals, families and communities and assist on joint visits where appropriate.
