This Safer Neighbourhood area includes Staveley. It is covered by the Chesterfield North Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and belongs to the Chesterfield Local Policing Unit.
Staveley town centre is located five miles from Chesterfield Town Centre and geographically is in the centre of a rejuvenation project called the Markham Vale Development. The town council offices are located on the High Street, Staveley.

Neighbourhood Priorities
1. Youth ASB in Staveley town centre including Morrisons, Staveley Market and the Healthy Living Centre.

1. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to patrol this area at peak times during the summer Months to engage with and deter perpetrators. We will work alongside Enforcement Officers from Chesterfield Borough Council and Local Schools to identify suspects and take positive action whenever possible.
