This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Quarndon, Kirk Langley, Mackworth, Turnditch, Windley, Mugginton and Weston Underwood. It belongs to the Amber Valley Local Policing Unit.
The Safer Neighbourhood area for Quarndon and Kirk Langley also encompasses the villages of Kedleston, Turnditch and Windley, as well as covering the rural parts of Mackworth and Markeaton. The area is served by the A6, A52 and A38 trunk roads.

1. Regular high visibility patrols within the location, utilising our stop/search powers where grounds are met. Work alongside our Youth Engagement Team, issue anti-social behaviour letters to people found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour. For persistent offenders found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour, consideration to be given for other suitable disposals, such as Immediate Justice or issue acceptable behavioural contacts. Work alongside youth provisions and sign post young people to engage in positive diversionary activities.
