This Safer Neighbourhood area covers North Wingfield, Pilsley, Stonebroom and Shirland. It belongs to the North East Local Policing Unit.
The villages of Stonebroom and Shirland are situated along the A61 to the south of Clay Cross. The small rural village of Pilsley is situated west of Clay Cross, while North Wingfield is due north-west of Clay Cross along the A6175, or Market Street.

1. High Visibility patrols around the schools at key times. SNT will hand out tickets and engage and educate drivers around illegal and inconsiderate parking.
2. Known addresses will be monitored. Intelligence added as and when received form SNT patrols and members of the public. Again, high Visibility patrols at key times and locations.
3. Monitoring local abandoned building in North Wingfield which is targeted by youths. High Visibility patrols at hotspot areas of ASB.

1. Speeding throughout all areas but particularly Stonebroom, Morton and Stretton.
2. Ongoing Parking issues around the schools.
3. Anti-Social behaviour regarding off-road bikes, mainly North Wingfield and Five Pits Trail.

1. High Visibility speed checks will be completed at key times. Community Speedwatch Groups have been discussed for all areas.
2. SNT to conduct regular high visibility patrols at school drop off and pick up times to engage and educate any parents that are parked illegally or dangerously.
3. Regular high visibility patrols are conducted to try and identify riders and deter further ASB. Riders who are identified will be issued with a S59 warning or have their bike seized under S.165 of the Road Traffic Act.
