This Safer Neighbourhood area includes Newbold and Brockwell. It is covered by the Chesterfield North Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and belongs to the Chesterfield Local Policing Unit.

The Newbold and Brockwell ward is a residential area which includes Holmebrook Valley Park, a local nature reserve and has public recreation facilities. The area is divided into four areas which are locally known as Newbold, Holme Hall, Loundsley Green and Brockwell. Within the area are several green areas for recreation used by local football clubs and residents.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to develop and act on intelligence provided to us in relation to Drug related issues in the Loundsley Green area. We will utilise Plain clothed patrol operations to identify dealers, carrying out stop searches wherever proportionate to do so and we will build intelligence which allows us to carry out drugs warrants in the local area.
