This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Coton in the Elms, Overseal, Netherseal, Linton, Lullington, Rosliston & Castle Gresley. It belongs to the South Derbyshire Local Policing Unit.

The area lies within the National Forest and consists of fifteen small rural villages. Seven of the villages have their own parish council and or neighbourhood watch. The area is bordered by Staffordshire to the west and south/west and Leicestershire to the east and south /east.

Speeding we will:- 1. Conduct High Visibility patrols 2. Encourage volunteers to set up Community speed watch schemes in areas raised as an issue. 3. Supporting existing Community speed watch schemes. 4. Conducting Police speed checks in areas highlighted as an issue. Drug dealing we will:- 1. Conduct a mixture of High Visibility and plain clothes patrols. 2. Engage with the community building on intelligence and feeding back results taken. 3. Regularly review intelligence to identify hot spot locations and potential suspects. 4. Take pro active action relating to drug dealing (conducting stop searches/warrants)
