This Safer Neighbourhood area includes the Holmebrook and Rother council ward. It is covered by the Chesterfield South Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and belongs to the Chesterfield Local Policing Unit.
The area is situated to the immediate south of Chesterfield town centre. The main A61 arterial road bisects the area, but provides a focal point for the neighbourhood. New developments incorporate the Alma Leisure centre and the Horns Bridge roundabout.

Neighbourhood Priorities
1. Drug related ASB in the Grangewood area.
Issue Date Tuesday 14th May 2024
1. The Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to develop and act on intelligence provided to us in relation to County Lines Drug related issues in the Grangewood area. We will utilise Plain clothed patrol operations to identify dealers, carrying out stop searches wherever proportionate to do so and we will build intelligence which allows us to carry out drugs warrants in the local area.
