Heanor is a small market town situated on the top of a hill with Loscoe, a neighbouring village, approximately one and a half miles from the town centre. It has a wide variety of shops and market days are held every Friday and Saturday. It also boasts a very picturesque memorial park.

1. Regular high visibility patrols within the location, utilising our stop/search powers where grounds are met. Work alongside our Youth Engagement Team, issue anti-social behaviour letters to people found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour. For persistent offenders found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour, consideration to be given for other suitable disposals or issue acceptable behavioural contacts. Work alongside youth provisions and sign post young people to engage in positive diversionary activities.
2. High visibility patrols within the location, positive action to be taken against vehicle owners found to be committing offences, utilise our powers given to us to deal with all offences robustly.
3. Carry out speed checks with the area, working alongside our Community Speed Watch Group. Issuing advisory letters to anyone caught speeding and follow up with any enforcement action required.
