This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Barlborough. It belongs to the North East Local Policing Unit. 

Barlborough is an old village situated next to junction 30 of the M1 motorway. It is in effect split into 2 sites, the old village and the new development known as the Links. Its close proximity to the motorway puts it within easy commuting distance of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.

1. The SNT will patrol the area on foot due to the location being half a mile from the main road. The SNT will issue ASB warning letters if any youths are found misbehaving in the area, alcohol will be seized, and the appropriate safeguarding will be put in place should there be any concerns regarding the children's safety. Joint visits will be arranged with the fire service due to concerns regarding the youths setting fires. Children will be spoken too and educated with regards to the dangers of alcohol.
