This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Crich, Whatstandwell, South Wingfield and Pentrich. It belongs to the Amber Valley Local Policing Unit.

The beautiful countryside attracts many walkers and tourists to the area and some of the places of interest are the Crich Tramway Museum, Crich Memorial Stand, and Wingfield Manor.

1. Regular high visibility patrols within the locations. Plain clothes patrols to be conducted to identify dealers, carry out stop searches where grounds are met. Develop intelligence and carry out drug warrants in the area.
2. Regular high visibility patrols within the location, utilising our stop/search powers where grounds are met. Work alongside our Youth Engagement Team, issue anti-social behaviour letters to people found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour. For persistent offenders found to be engaging in anti-social behaviour, consideration to be given for other suitable disposals or issue acceptable behavioural contacts. Work alongside youth provisions and sign post young people to engage in positive diversionary activities.
3. High visibility patrols within the location, positive action to be taken against riders located, issue section 59 warnings or seizing the bikes under 165.
